Am i being treated unfairly at work due to my pregancy?

The only thing I can say is that you need to maybe consider other options for money. Like finding someone in need of child care or a work from home type thing. If you are only 17 weeks and having issues already you are going to continue to have them and they will only get worse as you get bigger. ESPECIALLY if you are possibly having twins…(though your midwife should know you can not go on size of your belly alone….I am huge at 28 weeks and actually have to go in for a 3rd US for size of the baby…they fear he is too big, not twins.) Find something were you can sit more often….see if you can find another part time job…you have options. from my experience there is nothing you can do about not getting the hours you want unless you can prove without doubt that it is simply because you are pregnant. You are only 17 wks along and that to many does come across as just being lazy….I don’t know your situation so I will not make judgment on you for it, but like I said you really want

You shouldn’t be discriminated against for being pregnant. However you need direct evidence it is directly because of your pregnancy you are being targeted. However seeing as you work in a pub, they are only a small company so you might need to be fair on them (their hands might be tied, because really your pregnancy makes you uncapable of fully carrying out your job, but legally they can’t let you go). If you ask me the noble thing would be to hand in say a 6 week notice of your resignation, this will give you plenty of time to secure a home-based job, or something more temporary, and it will leave your employer free to get someone who won’t interrupt the rota.
