The ViaMichelin Navigation X-970 is supplied with a pre-loaded SD card which enables the simple and direct installation of programs and mapping onto your navigation device: this is the “Plug and drive” facility. The DVD-ROM supplied with your ViaMichelin Navigation X-970 enables you to install the “Content Manager” program which provides the link between your PC and navigation device. This program enables you to : • Transfer points of interest (POI) files from the ViaMichelin website or from a PC • Reinstall the SD card if necessary • Export map files and integrate “asc” or “POI” files.Unfortunately, this DVD-ROM is not configured to work with Macintosh operating systems. To date, there is no plan to develop the DVD-ROM for Macintosh operating systems.
