I think you should speak to your creditors and explain the circumstances. I can’t understand your question. On the one had you are asking if you can claim sickness benefit and on the other you say you are being paid ssp. Visit the Benefit Agency and discuss your situation to ascertain entitlement to any other benefits. Do you have a job to return to? I asume you do. Whatever you do, explain your circumstances to your creditors. Don’t sweep it under the carpet. You will find them quite understanding and helpful, but if they don’t know they’ll assume the worst and you will only make things more difficult for yourself.
