Am I a bad Muslim?Will I be forgiven?
From what you say, you seem to have been a Bad Muslim The Muslim belief from what I understand, seems to have a great many rules & ritual’s, so it make it extremely hard for someone so young, Don’t feel bad about what you have done in the past, after all no-one is perfect, or even comes close to it.
As a youngster, there are going to be things about your faith that you will question. Honestly you don’t know why you’re a muslim, you just know that that’s what your parents are, so there for that’s what you are. That’s how you are being raised, and that’s what you’re being taught is right. And as you grow older you will question the teachings of the muslim faith, because you’re at that point in your life where you’re trying to figure out who you are (for starters) and what direction you want your life to go in. You’re becoming your own person and you’re starting to form you own views and out looks on life based on the images, teachings and surroundings in which you’ve been exposed too. And every one your age feels restricted because there are rules and guidelines that you’ve been disciplined (or conditioned) to follow, and you really don’t know why.
No, Sis you are not bad simply making some mistakes. Allah forgives us when we ask for forgiveness and CHANGE our ways.As long as you are trying to do the right things then Allah is merciful and knows best the intentions of your heart. Take things slow and start over one day at a time. Living within the limits of isalm is not always easy but it is easier than going through the hard things the world has to offer. Teen pregnancy, drugs and disrespect to parents and even worse can happen. Ask Allah to guide you. May Allah make things easy for you.
