Using a Sony Viao Desktop XP sp2 Avast AV Comodo Firewall (I’ve disabled the fw while troubleshooting) Running as administrator, was going to look at Disk Management today, and recieved the error, “The dependancy service does not exist or has been marked for deletion” I went into services, RPC, Plug and Play, are both started and on Auto ( both are dependencies for Logical Disk Manager Administrative Service). However, Logical Disk Manager Administrative Service is set to automatic, but not running. When I try to start, receive error. “Could not start the Logical Disk Manager Administrative Service on Local Computer. Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion” Now, I did notice that I do not have (even listed as a service) Logical Disk Manager. That should be there. But it’s missing. Any ideas on how to get it back? Thanks in advance for your time guys. Cheers. System Specs Budget:VGA:Monitor: MB:OS:XP PRO SP2, up to dateBrowser:IE 6 & FF 2.0.0.12
