This an update to the earlier FAQ. Do you need to use PhotoShop? the answer is if you are a professional or semi-professional photographer with a digital workflow then the answer is almost certainly – yes. As an amateur – well the answer is possibly but not essential. If you want to avoid paying any money at all then tools such as Picasa – a free download from Google is an excellent prodcut that can do basic manipulation, create galleries, upload photos to an on-line gallery etc.
