Answer Hi Pamela, Your odds of success depend on many factors, including (and not limited to), your age, weight, body mass index, result of your prolactin and thyroid testing, cycle day 3 FSH level, status of your tubes (opened or blocked) and uterus on your HSG, your estradiol level the day of the Ovidrel injection, the size of your follicle on ultrasound the day of the Ovidrel injection, the motility and morphology of hubby’s sperm after the wash, the thickness of your uterine lining prior to the Ovidrel shot, etc. etc. etc. IUI may cause mild cramping but shouldn’t cause nausea.
