Answer Hi Brian, No, Renu would be different than Equate but both are OK, but maybe not the best choices. Probably comparing the ingredients label and especially the preservatives is the best way to compare. All the major pharmas keep their ‘flagship’ branded solutions to themselves. They may make a different solution, or use an older solution for the housebrands. If your are happy with the ones you’ve mentioned, go ahead because there are no significant solution incompatibilities. There is some mediocre research that claims to link contact lens materials with various solutions and demonstrate (at worse) mild corneal irritation for the first two hours of wear.
