Along with film screenings what other workshops/ events will take place?
Cultural events are planned at Canacona, Pernem/Dhargalim, Calangute, Sanguem/Quepem and Colva. CII will organise the `Big Picture’ Conference at the Goa Mariott Resort. NFDC will organise a buyer’s lounge and co-production market, while FICCI will organise a seminar and Master Class on Animation and Visual Effects. A new initiative undertaken this year by NFDC in partnership with DFF will have international consultants and experts advise and work with selected film makers to develop scripts of international quality. Screenwriters Bloc (18th – 23rd Nov, Goa Marriott Resort) – A Script Development Workshop The aim of the workshop is to develop eight pre-selected Indian scripts for the international market, will provide a platform for seven Indian scriptwriters to work out and finalize already developed screenplays through active consultation and interaction with a select team of seven renowned professionals from the global film industry, including India.
