All of my virtual servers log to one file. Can I analyze them individually with Wusage?
If your web server logs multiple virtual hosts to a single log file, Wusage will have no problem analyzing them individually, provided that the virtual server name appears on each line of the log file. The virtual server name must appear either after the last ordinary common log format field, or in place of the unused “identd” field. Users of Microsoft IIS in “W3C extended” log format mode will not need to make any adjustments to their log format provided that they have turned on the server name logging option. To instruct Wusage to analyze one server only and ignore the rest, set the “servername” (“Web Server To Be Analyzed”) option in the configuration file to the appropriate virtual server name. A separate configuration file and report directory must exist for each virtual server. Wusage will be run separately for each virtual server.
