No….BC means Before Christ…so the year Christ was born was year ZERO. You count forward AFTER zero but count BACKWARDS before zero….negative one, negative two, negative three….etc. So 356 is negative 356…you are moving towards ZERO…so the numbers DECREASE so 356 is the birth year and 323 is when they died…as it’s BC and not AD (after death).
