Age Spot Cream – Does It Really Work?
As we age, we become more likely to develop age spots. These brown spots occur when melanin become irregularly deposited in our skin, usually from sun damage. Uneven production of the cells that create melanin causes age spots to appear. This can be made worse through over exposure to the sun, certain hormones, medications, and underlying health conditions. These spots can be anywhere from the size of large freckles to a few inches across, and vary in color from light tan to nearly black. While they mostly appear on elderly people, age spots can turn up on people as young as thirty.
