After you left the Wallace and Ladmo show, did you work with Ajo Rep again?
Not so much Jeff and Duke. Jeff went to California and opened a recording studio and Duke went to work in radio. I went into stand up comedy and did radio commercials and television voiceovers. I spent about six years doing stand up comedy. Then I got married and had a family. Being a stand up comic is not conducive to having a family because you have to be on the road at least three weeks a month. That was during the time when everyplace on earth called themselves a comedy club. It could be a pizza shop, but they would put down a 4 by 8 platform, put up a microphone and spotlight and now they were a comedy club. But there was a circuit. You could plug into it like the old vaudeville days and you could have six, eight, nine, ten weeks of work, traveling around and staying in hotels. I didn’t like it. I really am a homebody, I don’t travel well. For six years I did this and out of those six years, there were probably four years of really heavy traveling. But there were some guys who jus
