They always seem to draw very well on international tours and I can see a major PPV being a huge draw outside of the U.S. As long as the US is the company’s dominant market for PPV buys, I don’t see them every broadcasting outside of North (or maybe South) America. Aside from the added costs of broadcasting abroad, the major problem is in the time zones. If they broadcast from the UK, the show would have to start locally at midnight (for WrestleMania) and 1 a.m. for other shows and then run until 4 a.m. That just isn’t feasible. Likewise, tape delaying a PPV means spoilers will get out and that would hurt the buyrates in the US. What the deal with Batista? He was getting the push of his career and then he just quits the company? I don’t get it. He decided that he had enough of wrestling and wanted to leave the business and get into acting, and possibly Mixed Martial Arts. I can understand an older guy getting sick of the grind of the road and taking bumps. It’s just a shame that he was
