After using time machine for some time, windows protection error occurs. What should I do?
Re-boot your system, press the F8 key and goes to MS Dos Prompt. Go into your hard disk and type “scanreg”. Try to recover previous saved registry records and re-boot system. If you are still unable to recover, you can go into safe mode and try to re-install your windows operating system to recopy certain files that may be lost or corrupted. If all else fails, uninstall time machine and reinstall windows as there may be errors in your hard disk even before the time machine is first installed.
