After using ePrompter for a few days, some of my accounts at Mail.com were deactivated without explanation or notice. Can you explain?

We were informed a while ago by one of our ePrompter users that Mail.com (and I have to assume this includes the entire Mail.com family which includes Email.com, iName and Switchboard) have been disabling accounts that are detected to be using auto-login programs such as ePrompter.
