No, as it is not necessary. Support for IDNs is now native beginning with Netscape 7.1/Mozilla 1.4. In addition, other browsers such as Opera have announced limited support and Apple/Safari is expected to announce support in the near future. Note: if Internet Explorer 5 or 6 is not installed, the plug-in will not be downloaded. Internet Explorer 7 supports IDNs without the i-Nav plug-in and therefore IE 7 users do not have to install the i-Nav plug-in.
