After the Final Integration Notice is sent, will an NJI F/O have to bid out of the G-IV/G-V Program to upgrade?
No pilot will ever be forced to bid. After the Final Integration Notice is sent, all vacancies will be filled by seniority with the exception of G-V vacancies, which may only be filled by G-IV pilots in seniority order. While an NJI F/O may elect to stay in the G-IV/G-V program, s/he may upgrade more quickly if s/he bids out of the program; however, that is a decision left to individual pilots.
