Discharging is part of the “conditioning cycle” which will first discharge the battery pack then rapid charge it completely. After discharging is finished, the charger will sound loud beeps to let you know discharging is done. The final discharging capacity will be retained on the screen for 15 minutes. After that, the MH-C777PLUS will automatically start the charging cycle. None of this will require user-intervention.
