After successfully installing ALP 3.0 and trying to open it by giving command like ALPHN or ALPGJ or ALPMR the ‘Lock Is Missing’ message is displayed?
Ans.: This message is displayed by the software lock, which is coming with ALP. It means there is not sufficient memory to install the Lock and hence the message is getting displayed and you are not able to open the ALP. In this case release as much base memory as you can by remarking unnecessary drivers from Autoexec.bat and Config.sys and give the Expanded memory support as explained above or refer manual Appendix H.
