No. Either they will not believe it, or they still defend their (incorrect) opinions. Whenever I get coffee, I tell the person in front of me “the truth” that “half & half” or cream is less fattening and healthier than milk-and it tastes better in their coffee, too. The reply is either, “I know,” or “it probably is.” What do they order? Coffee with nonfat milk. After hundreds of times offering “the truth,” I have yet to have just one of them ask me, “why do you say that?” Yes, it is very frustrating but if I can help just one more person to understand how their body really works, I am very pleased.
