After my new course is initially approved by TEA, or after I bring my existing course into compliance with the revised and amended rules, will it need to be re-approved?
Yes. Section 176.1108(a)(1)(J) of the rules requires that the course approval must be renewed every two years. TEA will renew the course approval upon receipt of a statement from the course provider that verifies the course (and/or ADM) has been updated with all revised statistics and references to law.
