But leaders from both sides say they’re extending a hand toward peace. For the latest from Lebanon, we’re joined now by CNN’s Beirut bureau chief Brent Sadler. Brent? BRENT SADLER, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Thanks, Rosemary. Well, a day of continuing discussions here in Lebanon between the UN special envoy Terje Roed-Larsen and the Lebanese authorities. And Roed-Larsen expected to go to south Lebanon some time today to get on with the very crucial task of verifying whether or not the Israeli military pullback is in full compliance with that old United Nations Security Council Resolution 425.
