After installing the Windows client and profile correctly and clicking on the Connect button all I get is “Authenticating User” (Profiles are also imported correctly), what can I do?
Answer 16 : Check what version of Windows Cisco VPN Client you are running. To do this open the Cisco VPN Client and click on Help (in the menu bar) and then click on ‘About VPN Client’. This will tell you what version of the VPN Client you currently using. If it’s 4.0.4 then please download the 4.8.01 version. Then click on Control panel and remove the existing Cisco VPN Client. Once removed reboot and then install the 4.0.5 version in the same steps as listed on the Step 1 and Step 2 for XP.
