After installing the OfficeReady Add-ins, is it likely that Excel and Word will become much slower?
A. Yes. Word and Excel are noticeably slower to load when the OfficeReady add-ins are loaded. You can make this less noticeable by disabling the splash screen. To do this, from within Word or Excel, click on the boxed checkmark on the OfficeReady toolbar and clear the ‘Display OfficeReady Splash Screen at Startup’ option.
