After installing the Adaptec driver in Windows 95, my system just hangs with the Windows logo displayed. How can I get the system to boot so I can check the settings of the driver?
Press the “F8” key when you see “Starting Windows 95” on bootup. Select “Safe mode”. Go into the CONTROL PANEL, then SYSTEM, and select “Device Manager”. Scroll down to “SCSI Controllers” and double click on the card you have installed. Make sure that the settings under “Resources” match the settings on the controller card.
