This is possibly because of the Embedded Scan function in Kingsoft Internet Security 9. By default, KIS 9 enables Microsoft Office Embedded Scan. To disable it and make your Office run faster, please do the following: 1. In the main window of Kingsoft AntiVirus, click Tools -> Options -> Embedded Scan. 2. Deselect Enable Microsoft Office Embedded Scan.
