After installing Jott for Outlook, I try to login to my Jott account through the plug-in but am given an internet connection error, whats wrong?
The root of the problem is that Jott for Outlook cannot connect to the Jott Servers. This error usually pops up if something on your computer is blocking Jott for Outlook. If you have any firewall software installed you will need to let Outlook access api.jott.com using both port 80 and port 443. If you use a password protected proxy server you will need to enter in the proxy information in Jott for Outlook by clicking on the “New (x)” button on the task bar, then selecting the settings tab. If you are on a corporate server or run hefty antivirus software you may need to modify settings to allow Jott for Outlook to connect to the Jott Servers.
