After installing CalliGrapher I get an error message that the touch screen driver is not compatible. What do I do?
This could happen if the previous version of CalliGrapher did not uninstall correctly and its touch screen driver remains on the device. CalliGrapher 7 or later can use either the CalliGrapher touch screen driver (CgrTouchStub.dll) or the native Pocket PC touch screen driver (touch.dll). If you are receiving this error message when selecting the Write Anywhere SIP, you need to make sure that the default touch screen driver (touch.dll) is used. To do so, check the following registry setting on your device: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH] the “DriverName” string value should be “touch.dll” If you change this setting, you need to soft-reset your device. It is imperative that you make a full backup of your device before you make any changes in the registry, because some third-party applications may replace this driver and changing the driver name may disable such applications or make the touch screen unresponsive. You can also try to install then uninstall CalliGrapher 7.5 wh
