Microsoft has a bug in the Office 2000 installer that is causing this problem, which only occurs for non-administrative users. We have obtained a workaround for this problem from Microsoft which you can download. Click here to download the Office 2000 Fixup program. After downloading, login as administrator and execute the atfixoff.exe program. Note: this patch may not work if more than one version of Microsoft Office is installed.
