During the encryption installation, configuration and verification process a network connection is required to allow the client to connect, synchronize, with the server. Once the computer is encrypted, a continuous network connection is not required. The computer should be periodically connected to the network so that the MEE client can contact the server for synchronization purposes to allow the client to download required updates.
