Many applications do not provide an accurate preview of bar code graphics. Instead determine the quality of the image ONLY by the actual printout of your bar code. Never judge your bar code from the onscreen preview. Q7) I am sending my sent out-of-house to a printer or service bureau. I’m worried about font substitution errors with my bar codes. Do I need to send the Bar Code Pro OCR fonts along with my bar code documents? A) No. You do not need to send Bar Code Pro fonts in addition to your graphics. Bar Code Pro’s OCR A and OCR B fonts are automatically embedded into your bar code graphic. For best results when printing, we recommend using Bar Code Pro’s default font settings. It is also not necessary to convert your document to outlines in order to avoid font substitution errors.
