After I installed the ImageMate, EZ-USB (oos)-EEPROM missing (ezusb.sys) appears in the Device Manager (with or without a yellow exclamation mark)?
The ezusb.sys driver does not install. SOLUTION NUMBER 1 Put the ImageMate 5.03 CD in the CDROM drive. Right click on the icon on your desktop labeled “MY COMPUTER”>>Click on properties>>Go to Device Manager. Click the plus (+) sign next to universal serial bus controllers and double click on EZ-USB (002)-EEPROM missing (ezusb.sys). Click on the Driver tab>>Choose update drivers>>Driver wizard will come up Search for driver>>Go to display (view) list>>Choose Have disk>>Browse to your CD. Click on IM3EEPR folder>>Click on ok twice. Click on Next until you receive a warning about an older driver being loaded>>You do want to use the driver you selected>> Continue and finish. If this doesn’t fix the problem, use solution #2 SOLUTION NUMBER 2 NOTE: Always back up the registry before making changes. 1. Click on Start 2. Click on Run 3. Type in REGEDIT, and click on OK 4. Click on the Plus next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE 5. Click on the Plus next to Enum 6. Click on the Plus next to USB 7. Delete
