After gaining bargaining rights, who drafts the unions bargaining proposals?
Usually the workers select a committee of people from all shifts and departments to draft the proposals for bargaining. Assistance is provided by the TEAMSTERS based on other contracts and experience from other groups of workers. These proposals are then presented to the entire membership, who discuss and vote on the proposals.
