After four years, what has come out of the interrogations at Guantanamo?
The Pentagon says it is receiving good intelligence from Guantanamo. According to its March 2005 fact sheet on the detainees: “The Joint Task Force, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (JTF-GTMO) remains the single best repository of al-Qaida information in the Department of Defense.” But former FBI Agent Jack Cloonan told FRONTLINE, “[Everything] that I was told was that there was nothing coming out of there of any value, nothing.” No one really knows the answer; the Defense Department has not revealed any specific detailed information on what the detainees are providing.
