After exiting HF mode, adding or removing other ports from groups sometimes causes the HF audio to come back on. Why?

In firmware version 3.6, when HF mode is turned off, the ports remain in the same group. They are disconnected in the crosspoint and the HF PTT is disabled, but if other ports are moved into or out of groups, the audio from the HF radio may be heard again. A better solution would be to remove at least one of the ports from the group to disconnect them. The question is, “which port should be removed?” Suggestions for how to do this automatically in a future firmware version are welcome. Possibilities include: • Always remove the HF port from the group it is in. Leave any other ports in that group alone. I think this would work well in 99% of cases. • Note that it would affect how the automatic connecting rules for command 198 work; specifically the second rule, “if the HF port is in a group, the port that entered command 198 is put into the same group” wouldn’t work twice in a row because when you exited HF mode, the HF port would be removed from the group.
