After creating my UEA, will I need to change my settings for my client email application (Eudora, Outlook, Outlook Express)?
It is highly recommended that you change your client email application’s settings to use your UEA as the “From” address. Without changing your settings, you will not have any reference to your preferred UEA in emails sent from your client application, which may be easier to use and understand (john.doe@uky.edu) than your email mailbox address (jpdoe01@uky.edu). For more information about changing the settings of your email client, please view the Adding Your University Email Address to Your Email Client document (http://www.uky.edu/email/uea/docs/UEA_client.html). If you do not change your client email application’s settings, you will still be able to read and send email.
