After COMMUNICATE! DELUXE software starts, why does it freeze up the computer?
Close the program. Use ctrl-alt-del key combination and ‘End Task’ on the program. There may be couple of reasons causing this problem: – Make sure that the modem is being successfully initialized and that there is no other communication program using the modem. If there is a resource conflict with the modem it may cause freezing up. OR – Go into Windows Explorer and look in C: drive. Then go into Program Files / COMMUNICATE! DELUXE / Queue folder. There will be two folders ‘Log files’ and ‘Write files’. If there are any other files then remove those files from the Queue folder. There may be a corrupted entry among the submitted jobs.
