After 9/11 I read about security concerns at water treatment plants and want to know how the City responded?
Security of the water plants is taken seriously by the City. Shortly after 9/11 the security was reviewed with the outcome being numerous security improvements were made. The City continues to enhance security at multiple levels to greatly reduce any threat directed towards the drinking water or wastewater facilities.
