If you use Internet Explorer, you can block an ad by right-clicking on the ad, and selecting Block Ad with PCguard. This will block the ad when you click on the Refresh button on your browser. To block all ads from a particular source or ad server, you can do the following: 1. In Internet Explorer, right-click the ad and select Properties. 2. Highlight and copy the Address (URL). Note: Be careful not to enter the name of the site. For example, if you enter abcd.com, then this site will appear blank. You must enter abcd.com/adserver. Only enter known ad providers. 3. In PCguard, click Pop-Up Blocker, and then click Preferences under enable Ad Blocker. 4. Click New, and paste the URL into the Domain field. 5. Type a brief description of the new site in the Description text area. 6. Click OK.
