Supervisors and alternate approvers can utilize the SF-182 External Training Request Form in DOI LEARN to create an external request for training not in the course catalog. Please see this URL for slides on how to use the SF-182: http://training.usgs.gov/DOILearn/Index.html and you can also view this link: http://doilearn.doi.gov/MaestroC/OnlineResourceDocs/2/SF-182QuickReferenceGuide.doc for a quick reference guide to using the SF-182. Please do not add mandatory on-line training that is assigned to all employees and do not add any training to an employee’s transcript if the training is IN the DOI LEARN catalog. If you have a NEW employee and the mandatory training does not show up in their “My Courses” area or their “Learning Plan,” please have them email: oeddoilearn@usgs.
