Add Title, Add Variation, Add Regional Variation, What does it all mean?
RF Generation allows for titles, variations of a title, and regional variations of a title to be added to the database, but perhaps you would like to know which add script you should use to submit that title you want to add. Let’s first talk about the most mysterious script of the bunch, the Submit Regional Variation script. You would think that you would use this script to submit a Japanese Variation of the American Game Elite Beat Agents. Well, you’d actually be incorrect there. See, RF Generation’s ID system has what are regions and subregions. The submit regional variation script is used to add a subregional game to the database. For example, if you wanted to add a Canadian Version of an American game in the database, you would use the submit regional variant script. A French Version of a European game would also use this script.
