Action Replay wont let me use the Mech Installer Image. What can I do?

I download all the MechAssualt files that are needed but then when i go to put them in my action replay memory card it says that the file is an invalid game save. So now i have no way of using those files to put Linux onto my Xbox. Is there some way to bypass this? Get the correct Saved Game files for Action Replay here, and follow the instructions shown.
