ACCEPT/DECLINE/DEFER ADMISSION HOW DO I GET GRADUATE TRANSFER CREDIT FROM ANOTHER INSTITUTION?
The program to which you apply will determine if your previous graduate level coursework will apply to your program of study here. The Admissions Office does not make that determination. Likewise, we do not do course-by-course evaluations of graduate level courses. Please fill out the Request for Transfer of Graduate Credit form which can be found online at http://www.gradsch.ohio-state.edu/Depo/PDF/TransferGradProgram.pdf. The form requires a signature from your Graduate Studies Committee Chairperson in your graduate program. Registration Services will review the request to ensure that the proposed coursework is graduate-level, that the student was in a graduate program when the coursework was taken, and that the grade earned was at least a B.
