ABSTRACT QUESTIONS Who should write the abstract?
• The participant must write the abstract. The URS is designed to help students learn about professional conferences and writing abstracts is part of becoming a professional. • Participants can and should consult with their professor and/or mentor to read over the abstract to make sure it is appropriate. The dates will be announced via your UM-St. Louis student e-mail. However, do not wait until the workshop to start writing your abstract. You will learn much more from the workshop if you have a draft in hand. What should my abstract be like?
