A person needs to apply in writing for an absentee ballot. They can come to the Town Hall and vote in the Town Clerk’s office, or they can have a ballot mailed to them. A person can vote by absentee ballot if they will be absent from the city or town on election day, have a physical disability that prevents them voting at the polling place, or cannot vote at the polls due to a religious belief.
