abnormal mammogram but not found on ultrasound?
My mom had a mammogram done and it came back with two abnormal spots, one in each breast. She had the ultrasound done today and the doctor was unable to find either of the spots. They are going to order an MRI for her. Has anyone else had this before and what was the outcome? She has had an abnormal test before eight years ago and it was just a cyst, however that one was seen on ultrasound. Both her sisters have/had breast cancer.
