DPW’s time frame for lawn restoration is 3 months. This is to allow the soils to compact themselves natually back into place. Once thoroughly compacted, DPW or a hired landscape contractor will place topsoil and seed to restore your lawn to it’s original conditions. If a Utility Company or Contractor did the work, they are responsible for the restoration. If after the alloted time frame you still have a restoration issue, please call (708) 503-7702.
