KV-S7065C Place an 8.5 x 11, white piece of glossy paper in the tray. The leading edge will be the 11-inch side so place the paper in landscape position. Run the User utility, select User Shading and start shading. The paper will slowly pass through the scanner and calibrate the optics. Close the utility and run a normal scan to see if the line has been corrected. A: KV-S3065CL Follow the same instructions as the KV-S7065C, but make the 8.5-inch side the leading edge and place it in the portrait position A: KV-S3065CW Follow the same instructions as the KV-S7065C.
