Not all travelling guides speak Portuguese (Brazilian), but majority are excellent guides to the Casa. Most of these guides have good relationships with volunteers that are translators at the Casa. Do not expect to get personal attention as they are most times extremely busy. One of the main reasons is to have a travel guide to see to your needs full time during your entire trip.
